The Central Florida Development Council of Polk County received the 2006 Promotional Materials Award for Best Internet-Web Site representing an economic development agency. The award was presented by the Florida Economic Development Council at its annual conference in Orlando.
The Web site, CFDC contains a locator for available land and buildings, detailed demographics, a monthly economic barometer and other features detailing the community and economic development assets of Polk County.
