Harris Corporation and Pictometry International Introduce 3D Products for ESRI ArcGIS Explorer
Harris Corporation, a leading provider of imagery solutions for visualization, mapping and government markets, and Pictometry International Corporation,the worldwide leader in digital, aerial oblique imagery and measuring software systems, today announced the availability of new 3D modeling products for Geographic Information System (GIS) professionals. The new offerings combine the 3D modeling and geospatial product expertise of Harris with the visually stunning, aerial imaging data from Pictometry, creating a more realistic and impressive 3D viewing solution. The products are available in a variety of formats including the Environmental Systems Research Institute (ESRI) multipatch formats, which provide accessibility via ESRI's ArcGIS Explorer.
