RFP for Florida's GIS Strategic Plan Development - Closing Date Approaching

The Division of Emergency Management is soliciting responses to provide services necessary to create a strategic plan for geospatial coordination within the State of Florida.

The purpose of this request for proposal is to enter into a contract with a qualified firm to provide services necessary to create a strategic plan for geospatial coordination within the State of Florida. The Florida Division of Emergency Management leads a consortium of interested parties successful in applying for and receiving a grant from the Federal Geographic Data Committee (FGDC) National Spatial Data Infrastructure (NSDI) Cooperative Agreements Program of which $30,000 can be used for this contract. This strategic plan is a crucial step in defining the criteria, characteristics, and activities that will lead to coordination. It is anticipated that this RFP may result in a contract award to a single contractor.
