GIS Job Opportunity - Benthic Spatial Ecology at University of Miami
The University of Miami's Rosenstiel School of Marine and Atmospheric Science seeks a researcher to participate in a benthic ecology research program taking place in South Florida with a focus on spatial and temporal dynamics of seagrass productivity, abundance, and distribution, and relationships between benthic community structure and higher trophic levels. The ideal candidate will be an individual with experience using a combination of GIS, remote sensing, modeling, and field experimentation to understand population, community, or ecosystem patterns and processes at multiple temporal and spatial scales.
