Florida Chapter of URISA Announces New Website

The Florida Chapter of the Urban and Regional Information Systems Association (FLURISA) has announced the launch of their new website.

The FLURISA Board of Directors has waived the membership fee for 2008 in order to increase their membership base within the association. Anyone with an interest in GIS or geospatial information is welcome to join for free! Interested parties can register online, once completed you will be officially registered through December 31st, 2008.

All FLURISA members must re-register by Jan. 1, 2008 in order to keep their membership active.

The FLURISA Board of Directors is also currently seeking volunteers to assist in contributing to/editing their newsletter and in developing marketing materials. No extensive experience is required, please use the "Contact Us" form on their web site if you would like to volunteer.
