National Ocean and Coastal Mapping Strategic Action Plan Workshop in Ft. Lauderdale
The Interagency Working Group on Ocean and Coastal Mapping (IWG-OCM) will be hosting a National Ocean and Coastal Mapping Strategic Action Plan Workshop in Ft. Lauderdale, FL on February 26th - 28th, 2008.

The IWG-OCM seeks to "increase the efficiency of the Nation's ocean and coastal mapping activities by reducing duplication of effort, fostering interagency cooperation, and making mapping data and information easily discovered and accessed through a common Web portal."
A prior project example is the Priority Habitat Information System (PHINS).
