GIS for Utilities - Florida Utility User Group Meeting to be Held on February 14th, 2008

The Florida Utility User Group will be holding a meeting this Thursday, February, 14th, 2008 from 2:00pm - 4:00pm at the Pompano Emergency Control Center located at 1201 NE 5th Ave in Pompano Beach, FL.

The purpose of this user group is to establish a working group of GIS users and non-users to discuss topics for utilities, IT and engineering.

The topic of discussion for this meeting is Utility Data Sources and will include ways to collect data, accuracy of data, and maintenance of data including updating data as-builts.

Anyone within the Engineering / Utility Industry is highly encouraged to attend.

1. Take Exit 36, Atlantic Boulevard, and head east
2. Turn left onto South Dixie Highway
3. Turn right onto NE 10th Street
4. Turn left onto NE 5th Avenue
