Reminder - Palm Beach Countywide GIS Forum Meeting to Be Held February 21st, 2008 at 10am
Just a brief reminder that the next Palm Beach Countywide GIS Forum Meeting will be held from 10am - 11:30am on February 21st, 2008 at the Palm Beach County Vista Center Complex located at 2300 N. Jog Road in West Palm Beach.
Chris Tolken of Munsys Inc. will be presenting "Bridging the Gap Between CAD and GIS".
Per the abstract listed on the Palm Beach Countywide GIS Forum website:
"Many organizations face the challenge of duplicated effort by trying to maintain both drawing and GIS data in two different systems. Munsys Inc. bridges the gap between Engineering and GIS departments by allowing these departments to effectively share this data using Open GIS standards. This presentation will demonstrate how easy it is to maintain your engineering information in an open accessible format where this data can then be utilized by traditional GIS."
