The Tallahassee-Leon County GIS Department is featured in a two page article in the latest issue of ESRI's ArcUser Magazine.
The article is entitled "Improving Geocoding for Unusual Road Names" and was written by former Tallahassee-Leon County GIS Specialist Jay Johnson.
The article chronicles how road name issues within Leon County were resolved using a Geocoding Development Kit (GDK ) downloaded from ESRI's Developer Network (EDN).
The GDK tool kit contains a software program, documentation and samples used for creating and/or customizing geocoding rule bases.
