Deadline for GIS Abstract Submissions Fast Approaching

The 14th Annual South Florida GIS Expo to be held October 4th - 5th, 2007 is still looking for a few more abstract submissions for this years's event. There are less than 2 weeks left until abstracts need to be received as the deadline is August 31st.

If your company has recently developed or been involved with a GIS or Mapping application that you would like to present to the industry, please fill out the online Abstract Submission Form. Such a presentation will allow you to share what you've learned with GIS users from across the state while getting the opportunity to get your company name out there.

Completed forms can be submitted through the website or by email to Patrick Lockwitz at plockwitz@deerfield-beach.com

New this year, the Expo is also accepting abstracts for 15 minute presentations for those whom don’t think they can fill up a traditional 45 minute time slot. If you would rather do a short presentation, please clearly note so on your Abstract Submission Form by writing “15 Minute Presentation” after your title within the "Title of Presentation" field.
