FedEx & Marriott Jump on the Virtual Earth Bandwagon
It seems more and more large companies are incorporating "enterprise" mapping applications into their websites these days. The two most recent riders to jump on the Microsoft Virtual Earth Maps bandwagon are Federal Express and Marriott International, Inc.
FedEx has added a drop box locator map service, while Marriott has added a hotel search map application. Both pretty basic applications, but great to see that corporate America is starting to catch onto the power of GIS and customer friendly mapping applications.
