Birmingham Firm to Map Lakefront Land Throughout Southeast

Birmingham's Southeastern Pond Management was selected by Cabela's Inc., a sports outfitter, as the exclusive lake mapping partner for its trophy properties in Alabama, Louisiana, the Florida panhandle and portions of Georgia, Tennessee and Texas.
Cabela's trophy properties are a network of experts that help people seeking to buy, sell, manage, develop, lease and own recreations properties.
According to a news release, Southern Pond Management will help pond and lake owners understand and maximize aquatic resources on properties. The company will provide detailed contour, depth and 3D maps of the bodies of water.
Southern Pond said those most likely to utilize the service would be property owners, lake associations, golf courses, marinas, developers, governmental organizations and fishing clubs.
The company is based in Birmingham and has offices in Auburn, Jackson, Tenn., and Jackson, Miss.
