Amcom Software, the leader in mission critical communications software, has acquired Telident 911 Solutions, the successful, enhanced 911 (E911) products of Teltronics, Inc. The Telident E911 products will integrate with and complement Amcom's industry leading suite of emergency communications and management solutions.
In making the announcement, Chris Heim, Amcom Software CEO said, "The addition of the Telident solutions to our product suite will expand our E911 capabilities and help an even broader range of customers protect people by pinpointing the source of 911 calls within their facilities with greater speed and accuracy. Customers are demanding a complete suite of emergency management solutions and this purchase certainly strengthens ours."
At one time, organizational emergency response was thought to involve simple, mass notifications. Today however, organizations realize increasingly that effective emergency management requires quick action and mass notifications via numerous channels, as well as ongoing direction of and communications with diverse action-teams. They understand the need to effectively manage emergencies from beginning to end - including timeline-based reporting that enables development and implementation of follow-up action plans. Amcom's effective, comprehensive suite of communications and incident management tools can help organizations of any size respond to and manage emergency incidents.
"We are proud to add the impressive Telident brand to our company, said Dan Mayleben, Amcom Software CFO. "Not only does this software help protect people, but it allows organizations to ensure compliance with national, state and local emergency communications requirements."
"Our goal has always been to do what's best for our customers, investors and employees," said Ewen Cameron, President & CEO of Teltronics, Inc. "With Amcom's sharp focus on the emergency communications market and the addition of Telident 911 Solutions to their full suite, both companies' customers will benefit from the advanced functionality of their emergency communications systems."
