Sarasota County School District Takes GPS and RFIDs to School
The Sarasota County School District will begin tracking all students whom ride district buses to school through the use of GPS and RFIDs. Beginning in 2008, School District Officials will now know exactly where and when students board and exit from each bus. The system will also assist in creating more efficient school bus routes.
