Update on the National Ocean and Coastal Mapping Strategic Action Plan Workshop
A follow up to a January 17th post about the upcoming National Ocean and Coastal Mapping Strategic Action Plan Workshop to be held in Ft. Lauderdale, FL on February 26th - 28th, 2008.
The event is being hosted by the Interagency Working Group on Ocean and Coastal Mapping (IWG-OCM) and participation in the workshop is limited to 30 - 40 invited workshop participants including:
- Representatives of federal or federally-funded groups that collect or use ocean and/or coastal mapping information.
- Non-federal partners and individuals engaged in ocean and coastal mapping activities.
- Individuals who have knowledge and experience that would contribute to the Ocean and Coastal Mapping Strategic Action Plan.
A few of the workshop sessions are open to the public so please reference the preliminary agenda if interested in attending.
