Northeast Florida GIS User Group Meeting to be Held on March 5th, 2008 in Jacksonville, FL

The Northeast Florida GIS User Group will be holding their 2008 kickoff meeting from 11am - 1pm on March 5th, 2008 at Northeast Florida Regional Council (NEFRC) board room located at 6850 Belfort Oaks Place in Jacksonville, FL.

The group is a collection of GIS professionals from both the public and private sectors within the seven county area of Baker, Clay, Duval, Flagler, Nassau, Putnam, and St. Johns Counties. They meet quarterly to enhance their knowledge and skills, to share ideas and data, and to coordinate GIS activities.

The casual meeting will allow GIS users in the Northeast Florida area to meet others in the industry and will include: a sneak peek at a cool Google Sketch-up tool, discussions on the future direction of the group, adoption of the by-laws, and a formal election of the steering committee.

Bring your own brown bag or join us in ordering lunch from Jason’s Deli. Please use the lunch order form and return it to Kristy Capobianco at kristy.capobianco@rsandh.com before March 3rd! Choose between a box sandwich or salad meal for $10.
