"Coastlines: GIS For Ocean Research" to be Held in Miami, FL on 6/15/08 - 6/27/08
Science Approach will be conducting a training workshp entitled "Coastlines: GIS For Ocean Research" in Miami, FL on June 15th - 27th, 2008.
Per the event description, "CoastLines is a comprehensive project for students and teachers funded by the Information Technologies for Students and Teachers program at the National Science Foundation. CoastLines will recruit 30 teachers each year to learn to use geographic information systems (GIS) and global positioning systems (GPS) to investigate ocean research conducted by scientists at four sites in NSF’s Long-term Ecological Research (LTER) network."
