GOOGLE EARTH VERSION 4.3 BETA

As of this past Wednesday, Google Earth (GE) Beta Version 4.3 is now available for download and includes a number of new features.

My favorite new feature? It finally looks like the never ending game of guess the imagery acquisition date has come to an end.

GOOGLE MAP TRAFFIC UPGRADES

The traffic feature on Google Maps has been upgraded to include typical traffic conditions, where users can choose a day of the week and use a sliding time scale to see what the anticipated traffic will be like based upon historical data. Vehicle accidents, schedule highway construction, and road closures are now also included.

Still waiting on them to tie in train schedules so I know where and when to avoid the RxR crossings.
