Home Exemption Issue Holds Up Debut of Indian River County Property Appraiser's Mapping Site

Per a recent article in TCPalm.com, the Indian River County Property Appraiser is to soon debut a new website with greater search capabilities and faster loading parcel boundaries through it's mapping interface.

A few minor glitches have held up the release, including the proper display of home exemption data. The new website and mapping application is being developed by Software Techniques, Inc. (STI ) based in Winter Park, FL.

STI has also developed and implemented Highlands County’s property appraising system which enabled them to create their CUSTOMCAMA solution.

Per STI's website, "Some of the features that have been added for CUSTOMCAMA users over the years include GIS integration, a Web-based interface, and a series of field collection units ranging from a handheld device, to tablet PCs, to notebooks."
