Geographic Technologies Group Introduces Geo Blade Water

Geographic Technologies Group, Inc. (GTG), an industry-leading GIS solutions provider, announces the release of Geo Blade Water. Geo Blade Water is ESRI compliant and operates with ArcGIS Server.

Geo Blade Water makes managing water systems easier than ever with its user-friendly mapping interface. Geo Blade Water offers customized water reporting and several convenient functions including the ability to add and delete features, update feature attributes, manage data quality control features, and the ability to copy and reassign attributes. Any user GeoDataBase/water database model is easily integrated into the application.

Geo Blade Water is one of many department-specific “blades” incorporated into the Geo Blade software suite. Blades are additional functionalities to the core viewer, specific to an agency’s departmental needs.

GTG has worked with hundreds of clients throughout the United States and has noted that the GIS utility based maintenance systems are very pricey for the average local government user,” said Curt Hinton, CEO of GTG. “Geo Blade Water is the first in a series of utility blades that will offer all of the functions needed by the users at a much more competitive price point. The Sewer blade is nearing completion and will soon be followed by the work order, stormwater, electric, and gas blades. Geo Blade Water makes tasks that were once very tedious and time consuming very simple thanks to the ease-of-use of the Geo Blade toolset.”
