GIS Used to Dissolve Cedar Grove, FL...... Good Thing It Was Not Used to Clip, Intersect, Join, or Merge
It's about time we finally had some negative news about GIS. Afterall, it seems to have infiltrated just about every industry in a postitive and productive manner thus far.
Ryan Burr of the Panama City News Herald reports on the backlash as to how the city used GIS to determine that Cedar Grove is 42% surrounded by other municpalities and thus is ripe for dissolution.
